In addition to the board, our teams take on all other association tasks. The teams work independently and coordinate their activities in monthly online meetings. Since the association's work is voluntary, we try to distribute the tasks among several people. The teams are always happy to welcome new members and motivated helpers. We offer many opportunities to get actively involved with us and meet other infection researchers. However, as we all have demanding full-time jobs and family commitments, processes are often not as fast as we would like them to be. The more of us there are, the more we can achieve. We therefore welcome anyone who would like to join one of our teams and play an active role in shaping our association.
