At the 6th Infect-Net network meeting on 24 & 25 September 2025, we will focus on sequencing and diagnostics in infection research
We are pleased to invite all Infect-Net experts and interested parties to our sixth network meeting. We will meet on 24 and 25 September 2025 at the Friedrich Schiller University at Ernst-Abbe-Platz in Jena, directly after the annual conference of the DGHM. This time we will be focussing on sequencing and diagnostics in infection research.
The meeting will be kindly hosted by our steering board member Prof Dr Bettina Löffler and her team. Bettina Löffler is director of the Institute for Medical Microbiology at the University Medical Center Jena and steering board member of the DGHM.
This sixth network meeting will also be the final event of our BMFTR-funded network initiative. However, this is not the end of Infect-Net and our mission, as we will continue to work as an independent association for more visibility and a say in science policy for female infection researchers in Germany.

In particular, we want to emphasise the opportunities for active participation in shaping our mission.
