EMBL Conference: BioMalPar XXII – Biology and Pathology of the Malaria Parasite
Mai 27 – Mai 29
„Malaria remains a major global health burden and progress toward its control and elimination has been limited by growing drug resistance, the challenge of developing a highly effective and broadly active vaccine, reduced commitments to global public health, and political instability.
The goal of BioMalPar is to (1) highlight recent advances in basic and translational research into the biology of malaria parasites, their interactions with their mammalian host and mosquito vector, and the development of new interventions, (2) foster collaboration among researchers in these efforts, and (3) provide training and networking opportunities for participants.“
